Automatic Upgrade Center (AUC)

Free service that auto-updates ALM 3239, ALM 3268, and DataMate V.34 Modems.
Operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
US Modems Only

REQUIREMENTS: Dial in with the modem to be upgraded (only upgrades one modem per phone call). You will need a terminal or PC attached to the modem - dial speed is 28,800 - 9600 bps.

  1. Dial 1-954-846-3601 or 1-954-846-3602 at 28,800 - 9600 bps (only two lines are available - please be patient and anticipate a possible busy signal)
  2. Once connected, the AUC will prompt for the modem's serial number (located on the bar code label on the bottom of the unit).
  3. After entering serial number the AUC automatically identifies the remote modem and upgrades it to the latest release applicable.
  4. Once upgrade is completed the call is disconnected by RACAL.
