Low Speed, Asynchronous Legacy Interface Module
(LSAL)
The LSAL module is a compact subassembly that occupies two
slots in the chassis. The LSAL provides the async RS-232c interface to ATM VBR (AAL5)
conversion and allows the user to independently address each of the eight asynchronous
legacy interfaces to a VPI/VCI.
