NOTE: The DAP 4500 and DAP 4550 product lines are not being withdrawn at this time.

  1. Reason for Withdrawal

    2. These select product configurations are at the end of their life and will be withdrawn.

  2. Replacement Product

    3. There is no direct replacement for this product available from RDG. However, similar ISDN terminal adapter functionality is available from several other manufacturers. Additionally, the DAP 4500 and DAP 4550 product families can be used in the terminal adapter mode to provide the functionality of the DAP 4100 and DAP 4150, respectively.

  3. Customer Notification

    4. We recommend that the appropriate account manager notify your customers immediately via telephone. Additionally, we suggest that a confirmation letter be sent out to each of your customers following the initial telephone call.

  4. Special Situations and Exceptions
    1. Fulfilling Existing Contract Obligations

      2. Any specific customer situations that may arise should be brought to the attention of the Marketing Office as soon as possible.

    2. Concessions for Specific Accounts

    No concessions have been identified or planned for specific customer accounts concerning the products identified. However, consideration will be made for continued support of key customer accounts on a case by case basis.

  5. Policy - Repairs After Withdrawal

    6. Warranty periods are not changed by withdrawal.

    RDG will continue to provide repair and rework services subject to availability of the necessary parts for the configuration and release level that were in effect upon the Last Order Date per Warranty and/or contract agreements.

  6. Policy - Technical Support After Withdrawal

    7. RDG will continue to provide technical support for installation and configuration services for the Product for one (1) year from the Last Order Date or as per Warranty or Contracted agreements.

  7. Maintenance and Service Support Policy after Withdrawal

Maintenance and support services will remain available for thirty-six (36) months from the date of discontinuation or through the terms of customer’s current maintenance agreement, whichever is longer.
